Racing the Sunset

Ingredients

• Nikon D7500
• Sigma 50-100mm f/1.8
• Godox reflector

The first beach shoot of the season with a simple lighting setup: A 100x150cm Godox 5 in 1 reflector. We started the shoot around 4pm, roughly two hours before sunset, so the light from the sun was still quite harsh towards the beginning. The reflector does a very good job of balancing the shadow-side of the model's body with natural light. Shooting with a reflector is much easier if you have an assistant, and luckily my model brought a friend!
