At long last, after months of planning and well over a year of purchasing, I finally took my Toyo 810M into the city. I had the day off, and the weather was looking to be ideal, and yet I still almost didn't push through. The nagging inertia to leave home coupled with the self-doubt of "I don't even know what to take a picture of" is a powerful foe. Nevertheless, the night before I pushed myself to at least pack everything together, just in case. In the morning similar thoughts, this time narrowly defeated with the compromise "Just go have a look" and giving myself permission to not even get the camera out if I'm not feeling it.
